Kids learn to edit video for Film & YouTube using Davinci Resolve (1hr Zoom, 8 meetings)

Service Description
Students will learn basic video editing for Film, Television, YouTube, and other applications. Students will learn at their own pace, as we take footage from original and found sources and edit them into new creations. We’ll do several projects over the term, and have fun while learning how to manipulate media. Topics include: basic editing skills, transitions, color correction, titles and animation, the use of music, audio post-production, workflow, media management, project finalization, and project upload (to YouTube, Vimeo, etc.). Beginners welcome! Zoom 1hr, meets weekly 8 times, following the academic calendar ages 9-16
Cancellation Policy
RELEASE FORM. On behalf of my minor child, I agree to grant Dan Marshall (“Sensei Hollywood”) and his assigns the right to use photo and/or video images and sound for use as news and/or educational programs in whole or in part for any currently known media or media to be developed. I agree to release Dan Marshall from any and all claims, damages, liabilities and costs I now or might have regarding my appearance in association with news stories and/or educational programs. I hereby release all rights that I, my heirs, or assigns might have now or in the future to all or part of the said production, including but not limited to the publishing and use in broadcasting, webcasting, podcasting, video on demand, or any other public or private presentation or screening purposes by Dan Marshall or his assigns. I knowingly and willingly waive any and all rights or entitlements, including payments for my appearance or for the subsequent distribution of the the products related to this program.
